Unseriously

Miss Bossy was spot on with her post.

During my single days, I use to say the same thing.  Why do girls go gugu for the stupid man-beef-block-heads all the time.   I'm a nice guy! I open doors, I change my underwear (sometimes).  Why weren't girls Googling me?

I originally thought it was a confidence thing. Just being more confident makes you more attractive.  Lots of hair gel, doing exercises before going out (to temporarily beef up the muscles),

But Miss Bossy's post nailed it right on the head - you gotta be interesting! Keeping things un-boring will have people gravitate to me.  And it worked!  I caught myself a girl using octopus hotdogs!

Anyways.  Its been a very random day so I'll continue with some very random pics from the last few weeks.

I was eying the meaty slices amongst the very green pizza box.

Does anyone know where I can get Melon breads? I LOVE melon bread!

Penguins from Madagascar, Universal Studios Singapore.  Hahaha. I love the little kid's expression on the right.

I haven't been blogging because I was busy playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. OMG What an epic game!  Nearly wet my pants when I played The Gulag Level.  Its a level similar to the The Rock (my favourite action movie). Only thing missing was Nicolas Cage and Sean Connery.  I also finished Deep Space. OmG THAT was scary!

Fish foot spa in Times Square, Kuala Lumpur.  The fishies were ticklish.  The experience was enjoyable until they cornered us and started selling skin remover potions $100 a bottle!

The Bachelor's Week

Its the joyous event of saying goodbye to a comrade's state of singleness.

According to the most reliable wikipedia, bachelor parties originate from Sparta, when Spartans would toast the men on the eve of their wedding day. There's no doubt the tradition of toasting had carried through.

All the bachelor parties I've been to involve excessive alcohol.
And strippers :P
My friends and I have just finished our 'bucks week'
A week-long bachelor celebration in Singapore and Thailand where we
did nothing but sizzle under the sun, party, eat, then party some more.
The hotness group
We had helluva time, but damn! I miss my liver!!
We drank so much!

Jack Daniels, Johnny Walker, Heineken, Singtah's, Absolute and Tequilas.
We drank so much, Flaming Lamborghinies were literally coming out of my nose.
Memorable funny line: "Chivas 18?" "Really? She looks heaps younger than that!"
And of course, its not a bachelor's party if theres no women.
We saw hot girls, small girls, skinny girls, asian girls, white girls, leggy girls, stumpy girls. Girls who looked like guys and guys who looked like girls.
Me and some hot ladyboys.
We even saw a woman smoke two cigarettes down below (that was creepy).
I guess the idea of seeing women is not to displace the bride-to-be or current partners. We just needed to reassure our blokeness from an otherwise testosterone packed posse.
Not being able to tell if they were women or not was frustrating though.
Only left us more confused than ever.
But in the end of almost all bucks party, for me anyways, there's always this mild feeling of sadness.
I can't quite pin it.
Maybe its because such a happy occasion ended?
Maybe being surrounded by too much testosterone has ill effects.
Maybe its the depressive side effects of alcohol.
Or maybe its the realisation that nothings changed and that the buck's singleness didn't really end that night.
It ended a long long time ago,
when boy met girl.

6 Guys, 2 Countries, 1 Trip

I threw in my brother's snorkles into the luggage.

Thats the clothes part sorted out.

I only need to worry about the paperwork.. and the DS games, the songs for the mp3 player, the charging of the shaver,  charging the camera, emptying the memory card, battery for the headphones and of course, the toothbrush.

I'm leaving on a Jet(star) plane (to Singapore and later Phuket).
and I definetely wanting to be back again (and not stranded).

Its going to be an interesting trip.

Theres always the huge promise of fun and excitement when hanging out with the boys. All the tom foolery, fart jokes and girl gawking.

But thats a reason to be worried.

Im not sure what to expect from extended male bonding sessions in a hot humid environment with an awful lot of spicy, spicy food.

I read the water in thailand can give you the runs.

Even the Ice.
Oyster and water apparently gives people the runs.

And too much beer gives me the runs. Im not looking forward to doing much running.

Theres also the drop in our currency,  the vengeful girlfriends and the repeated travel warnings for our destinations.

From what I've read so far, it sounds like everyone there is out to scam your money!

But what am I complaining for?  Im going on holidays!! Yeay!

Dream big, work hard and play nice.

I'm up to the nice part.
